Diffrence Between DRAM or SRAM

DRAM (Dynamic random access memory)

  • it needs to be refreshed in every few milliseconds.
  • it stores data either capacitor charged or discharged.
  • e.g - 2GB RAM of pc/laptop.

SRAM(Static random access memory)

  • SRAM doesn't need to be refreshed periodically.
  • it stores data as long as power is being supplied.
  • e.g - cache memory in CPU.
